pharmacological action]Organophosphate insecticides. Phoxim destroys the normal nerve conduction by inhibiting the activity of cholinase in the worm body, causing paralysis of the worm body until death. Phoxim also inhibits the activity of cholinase in the host, enhances the gastrointestinal peristalsis of the host, and accelerates the excretion of the worm body.
