Since 2008, the Fisheries Bureau of Dongchangfu District, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province has closely focused on the focus of fishery efficiency and fishermen's income, adhered to the scientific development concept as the guidance, based on the actual development of the aquaculture industry in our region, and accelerated the pace of fishery structure adjustment. To optimize the aquaculture structure as the main line, promote famous and high-quality aquaculture varieties and new technologies, highlight the construction of demonstration bases, strengthen the standardized management of aquaculture production, and comprehensively improve the overall quality of fishery, achieve a sound and rapid development of the aquaculture industry. Up to now, the aquatic product utilization area of the whole region is 32760 mu, including 18180 mu of aquaculture area, 10991 tons of fish products, and the total output value of fishery products has reached 328.56 million billion yuan, of which the output value of fish products is 141.46 million billion yuan.
  
Famous and high-quality breeding has developed rapidly, and the breeding structure of varieties has been further optimized. Adhere to the market-oriented, benefit-centered, and actively introduce famous and high-quality breeding varieties, while expanding the scale of breeding of famous and high-quality varieties such as turtle and high-quality crucian carp, and doing a good job in the adjustment of the variety structure. This year, five turtle bases such as Liang Zhuang, Gu Zhuang and Yan Si Qiantian in Beicheng have been newly developed. Five turtle greenhouses with more than 3000 square meters have been built and 100 mu of turtle breeding area has been added. We have successfully introduced four new high-quality varieties, including Penaeus vannamei, Russian carp, tilapia and Japanese koi, with more than 600 million tails and high-quality lotus root species from Yugoslavia. Among them, the yield of yugoslav snow lotus per mu is as high as 5500kg, 3000kg higher than that of ordinary lotus root per mu. The output value of Penaeus vannamei per mu reached more than 7000 yuan. More than 1100 mu of famous and high-quality breeding area has been added in the whole region, which has injected new vitality and increased the income of fishermen and farmers and increased the benefits.
  
The construction of demonstration base has achieved remarkable results, and the characteristics of leisure fishery are prominent. According to the overall requirements of beautiful environment, standardized operation, product safety and good benefits, recreational fishery bases are cultivated. At present, there are 22 fishing bases in the whole region that integrate catering, fishing and leisure, specialize in fishing and combine breeding and fishing. This year, two recreational fishery bases of Yan Temple Wolong Bay and Tianyun Yiyuan Science and Technology Breeding Co., Ltd. have been added. Recreational fishery has become a bright spot and characteristic of aquaculture in our region. Secondly, vigorously do a good job in building new aquaculture demonstration bases, and actively guide the development and utilization of waste alkali waterlogged depressions and waste kiln factories. Luzhuang Kiln Factory in Tangyi Town, Dongchangfu District covers an area of 120 mu. Through personal contract development and renovation, 13 fish ponds and 65 mu have been newly developed, and more than 100 million aquatic species such as carp and crucian carp have been put in. The newly developed aquaculture area in the whole region is 605 mu.
  
The technical level of aquatic products and the technical quality of agriculture and fishery have been further improved. Vigorously carry out the general survey of aquatic pollution sources and special rectification actions for the quality and safety of aquatic products, publicize the knowledge of aquatic product quality and safety, supervise farmers to establish breeding systems, pond diaries, medication and feed use records, further standardize breeding production, and improve the level of healthy breeding technology. Adhere to science and technology to promote fishing, vigorously carry out technical training. In the past year, technical backbones and large farmers have been organized to visit and study twice, and large-scale training courses have been held three times. At the same time, organize technical personnel to conduct face-to-face guidance and carry out decentralized training. So far, more than 1500 fishermen and farmers have been trained and more than 3000 technical understanding papers have been distributed, which has improved the technical quality and breeding level of the majority of fishermen and farmers, and enhanced the ability and motivation for the sustainable development of the aquaculture industry.
